Healthcare systems can’t go down, and access to them can’t be loose. Our IT team manages the AWS infrastructure, VPN, and identity/access layer behind clinical and billing systems — built around uptime and access control, not general-purpose IT support.
What we run
- Windows and Linux servers in AWS EC2 — the compute layer under your LIS, order management and billing systems.
- AWS VPC management — network isolation so clinical workloads aren’t sharing a flat network with everything else.
- VPN configuration (Libreswan) — encrypted site-to-site links for clinical and billing data in transit.
- Nagios infrastructure monitoring — failures surface as alerts, not as a support call from a client.
- AMI and snapshot backup — recoverable restore points for systems that can’t afford a rebuild from scratch.
- Server storage scaling — capacity added ahead of volume growth rather than during an outage.
- Private and public subnet deployment — systems holding PHI-adjacent data stay off the public internet.
- IAM – Identity and Access Management — scoped so only the right roles reach PHI-adjacent systems, and revoked when a role changes.
- DNS, domain and FTP administration — the plumbing that data exchange with clients and labs depends on.
